Sleeping Sedition
This is a new attempt by the United Group to raise the awareness with human rights through “Sleeping Sedition” a training guide designed and supervised by Negad El-Borai- attorney at law and director of the UG.
The guide was written by Mohamed Hussein El-Naggar – the first guide for trainers issued by the UG. This was an attempt for whomever is interested in the program to apply it by using the exercises enclosed.
The very material by which 32 lawyers were trained in Sharm El-Sheikh summer 2005, it was conducted with the support of the Norwegian Fund for Human Rights in an attempt to widen lawyers network to defend freedom of expression and the right to form organization. This shall include those who defend victims of religious intolerance for their desire to change their religion on one hand, and on the other hand, utilizing various legitimate judicial ways to stop currents which call for war, instigate hatred in the Egyptian media.
