The NGOs Legal Aid Unit of Aswan has been very active since its was launched at the headquarters of Aswan's the Regional Union of NGOs. Its activities are intense as it held legal awareness seminars in several parts of Aswan governorate, in which it provided NGOs with information about the Law of Associations, in order to be able to find solutions for the problems they face. 
It held an expanded raising awareness meeting during the period 23-24 January 2010 on "resource development of NGOs according to the law." The meeting was held at the conference room of Aswan's Regional Union of NGOs, and attended by the representatives of 23 NGOs. It was moderated by Mr. Ahmed Adel, the lawyer of the Unit, and Mr. Amer Saad delivered a lecture. The attendees found the meeting very beneficial and asked for providing such seminars to the NGOs that have signed protocols of cooperation with the United Group in the rest of Aswan's Governorate.
