The Iraqi Law of Associations was enacted today, Monday January 25, 2010, by the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

This way the Iraqi civil society associations have a law regulating their work. Congratulations to both Iraqi and foreign associations operating in Iraq, especially because this law is one of the best compared to the Laws of Associations of the other countries in the region.

We would like to thank Mr. Fouad Felih Hassan, Iraqi Youth Parliament, for providing us with this law.
