In the context of the "Community Action towards Transparency" project, implemented by the United Group with the support of the USAID, Muntazah Association for Cultural Development, in Alexandria, held a seminar on public funds abuse in car accidents and destructing newly built buildings.
The seminar was held at the main hall of Alexandria Engineers Club. It was opened by Mr. Louis Lotfy, head of the association, speech in which he welcomed the cooperation with the United Group through the CATT project in which NGOs perform their role in monitoring public expenditures. Mr. Louis defined public funds as an entrance for the seminar. 
Mr. Yasser Farag, representative of UG, gave a brief summary of the project through which UG works with several NGOs in different governorates and stressed that there is a need for more cooperation with Alexandrian NGOs. After that Eng. Mustafa Darwish spoke about car accidents and how they represent a mean for public funds abuse. Furthermore, Eng. Fathi Sai Farag, tackled the effect of destructing newly built houses on public funds abuse. The seminar was concluded by opening the floor for discussions in which most of the audience participated.
