CATT project held elections to formulate the administrative offices of Suez Networks

The coordinators of the Community Action towards Transparency project conducted the first elections to choose the members of the administrative offices of Suez NGOs and Attorneys, Media and members of Local Councils Networks for Protecting Public Funds on Monday, August 31, 2009 at Canary Club Park in Suez. All the members of the two networks were keen to attend and record their desire to build a strong network that can play an effective role in protecting public funds and following those who abuse it.

Mr. Ahmed Galal won the position of the President of the NGOs Network; Mr. Gharib Raslan won the position of the Secretary-General of the Network and Mr. Muhammad Naguib, President of the Bar Association, won the position of the Treasurer.

On the other hand, the administrative office of the Attorneys, Media and Members of Local Councils Network was composed. Mr. Abdulhamid Kamal, journalist and the secretary of localities at Tagamaa (assembly) party, won the position of the President of the Network, Mr. Ismail Rady, lawyer and member of the local council, won the position of the Secretary General of the Network and Mr. Muhammad Sayed Meligy won the position of the Treasurer.
