Projects - Past Projects

In association with FFF; UG developed a clear strategy was developed to improve conditions of the legal profession and preserve its independence.
This strategy sprung from the very idea which says that justice is only realized by just judges, but it is also realized with lawyers, secretaries, and reporters, etc...Also independence of the judiciary can not be guaranteed unless the judiciary associates are independent. The Strategy was issued in a book with an English brief summary.

The strategy has been discussed through three work sessions at Marriott Hotel - Zamalek. The first session was on the independent budget for judicial bodies and its associates through a paper by Dr. Abdulfatah Al-Gebaly - Chairman of the Economic Research Unit of Al Ahram Center for Political Studies. The second session discussed ensuring the right to organize for the judges and their associates through a paper by Mr. Abdulghafaar Shoukr - Vice-Chairman of the African and Arab Research Center. The final session discussed a unified law for all individuals working in the Justice sector through a paper by Mr. Essam Al-Estamboly.
The Project has discussed several research papers on the subject in several governorates.
